Nice hotel. Boutique feel. Breakfast was limited but tasty. We had dinner at the restaurant as well and ordered tomato spaghetti and risotto. Spaghetti was okayish, but risotto was good.

We had a perfect stay at Easter break, they offer very clean and spacious rooms and amazing breakfast - Herta is the best - and on top of everything we had dinner in a row every night @ the restaurant. Great food and perfect wine selection is provided. The owners, father and son, are so friendly and polite. Everybody was so friendly and nice and helpful, every special wish of our kids was fulfilled. Thanks to everybody in team “Eggentaler”. It’s is an amazing place to stay, we love it and we’ll come back!

Great little family-run boutique hotel beside the Ega River in the small town of Cardano. Plenty of free parking directly outside with additional parking 50m down the road. Two historic150 yr old buildings sympathtically modernized. Really comfortable king size bed with 2 separate duvets, huge modern bathroom, 2 lovely bathrobes, spacious private, outdoor terrace with several seating areas. Good wifi, good air conditioning, good TV. Great restaurant for dinner and super advice from Moritz, the sommelier and son of the owner - make dinner reservations in advance!! Great breakfast, lots of choices. Outdoor pool, lovely outdoor seating area, outdoor covered dining area. Fantastic hotel! Safe travels 🇨🇦

I’m on a 2 month trip across Europe and this has probably been the best meal I’ve had, which I think is a big statement. The staff are very accommodating and nice. Top notch place!

The décor of the restaurant is original, old school, unobtrusive, neither exaggerated nor overwhelming. Clean and tidy. Multilingual waiter service is at a very high level. No fussing, unnecessary comments, jokes, flirting or pushy suggestions. Our waiter- Carlos ( born in Peru ) was a true Master of Ceremony. All dishes were served at the right time and an adequate temperature. The starters and main dishes were looking great and simply delicious. The ratio of portion size- quality-price is absolutely acceptable.

They should have at least four stars. Nice and newly renovated hotel with very nice and large rooms. Great breakfast and a fantastic dinner served by people who seem to enjoy what they do for their guests. We had our labrador with us and the staff seemed surprised that we did not bring him with us in the restaurant, so dogs are more than welcome and at no extra charge. It is a little difficult to find a place for walking the dog - I recommend to take the bicycle path in the direction of Bolzano - nice walk along the river.

Fabulous stay and dinner at Der Eggentaler. We sought out a hotel on the outskirts of Bolzano to escape the hustle bustle and it was fabulous. Large room and an amazing restaurant. A lot of people commented that it was pricey, but it seemed pretty reasonable to me. Really enjoyed speaking to the owner.

Amazing hotel!!! We took the Apartment- Our room was clean, we had free access to the hot tub and to the pool. The view is amazing. The breakfast was good and reach. I highly recommend the Michelin restaurant at the hotel - worth every euro!!
